After four years of existence, PEXIM’s mission is coming to life. The PEXIM Foundation, in partnership with Cambridge Trust, has to date supported 16 students to study at Cambridge. The number of PEXIM Alumni is growing steadily as is their dedication to helping the Foundation realise its mission – the economic, social and political advancement of Serbia and Macedonia.
The Alumni have slowly been taking over the organisation of the key events of the Foundation, such as the annual PEXIM Cambridge dinner at Trinity College, Cambridge, which is now entirely their endeavour. Through this dinner, they are promoting Serbia and Macedonia and are introducing students from Serbia and Macedonia to Government officials and business leaders in order to foster the application of their knowledge and skills for the benefit of their countries.
The PEXIM Alumni are employed by the Government of Macedonia, Government of Serbia, international companies active in Serbia and Macedonia, as well as academia.
The PEXIM Alumni network is also open to those who would like to support the work of the PEXIM Foundation, but were not PEXIM scholars. These “adopted” members of the Alumni network are invaluable for the work of the Foundation and are an inseparable part of the “PEXIM family”.
