We at the PEXIM Foundation are immensely proud that our annual event has over the years evolved into a tradition whose reputation continues to grow among both the government representatives of Serbia and North Macedonia and in the business community. The Dinner has provided us with a platform to promote our efforts and attract further partners. In the future, we hope to draw on these relationships.
The PEXIM Foundation Alumni share the view that the impact that we can make both as individuals and as an organisation should not be underestimated, no matter how small it may appear. Speaking on their behalf, Ms Tijana Gajić, Executive Director of the PEXIM Foundation, quoted David Mitchell: “My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops?” and continued: “Sometimes I feel that what we do at the PEXIM Foundation is making a big impact and that we’re making big steps towards our vision of Serbia and North Macedonia being environments in which young people can prosper and develop their skills and potential. Yet, sometimes I feel that these steps are just a drop in a limitless ocean of the changes that are still required. And then the quote reminds me that even this is enough. And then I come to this Dinner, and I see each one of you, supporting this vision, each one in your own capacity, and I’m reminded that this is more than enough.”
