Our alumni Kosta, on his own initiative, organized one of the most important conferences in the Balkans on the topic of environmental protection.
His desire behind this initiative was to emphasize the urgency of the need to protect our environment, prevent pollution and preserve biodiversity. Costa gathered over 40 influential speakers who shared their insights, bold visions and proposed solutions on this topic.
Thanks to the contacts he made during his studies at Cambridge University, Costa brought several representatives of this university to Belgrade, including Professor Michael Pollitt from the Judge Business School, as well as Lord Martin, the former president of the British Academy.
The Ambassador of Sweden, Charlotte Sammelin, the Ambassador of Brazil, José Mauro da Fonseca, the Ambassador of Great Britain, Edward Ferguson, the Permanent Coordinator of the UN in Serbia, Matilda Mort, as well as the Director of the Sector for Strategic Analysis, Services and Internationalization at the Chamber of Commerce, Mihailo Vesović, also participated in the conference.
Although the conference ended, it left inspiration for conversations and initiatives aimed at creating a healthier environment and a more sustainable economy.
