Jovana Gjorgjiovska

VICE DIRECTOR

Jovana is currently working as a Researcher & Analyst at the Department for Public Relations in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia. In her free time, Jovana actively contributes to international research projects on topics such as emotional intelligence, youth emigration and mental health trends in the LGBTQ population.

Prior to being selected a PEXIM scholar, Jovana graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of St Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia with a BSc in Psychology. Throughout her undergraduate studies, as an active member of Youth Educational Forum, Jovana was involved in several research projects on topics such as high school mobilisation and the perception of LGBTQI rights in Macedonia. Additionally, as a debater, debate lecturer and volunteer journalist in Radio MOF, Jovana has aimed to enable and advance critical thinking amongst the Macedonian youth.
