Tamara Nora Živković

MPhil in Environmental Policy

Prior to her studies at the University of Cambridge, Nora was awarded by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) a BSc with a First Class Honours in International Relations (IR). Nora won an LSE Student Union (SU) Outstanding Society Member Award 2014-2015 for her contribution to the LSE student community as the Finance Director in the LSE SU Enactus (Entrepreneurial-Act-Us) society. As the founding president of the LSE SU International Security society, Nora established cooperation with two international security organisations, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).


Iva Jugović

MPhil in Public Healthy

Prior to being selected as PEXIM Foundation scholar, Iva graduated as summa cum laude from the University of Maine. She earned a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish Language. She was a trustee of the International Student Tuition Scholarship, the Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture Scholarship, as well as the President Winthrop C. Libby/Reverend Pavlos T. Taiganides Award. This award is given for extraordinary contributions to internationals relations throughout the University of Maine community including participation in student activities, scholastic achievements and moral leadership. Iva is a member of Phi Beta Kappa - First National Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon-Mathematical Honor Society. Iva was a Vice President of International Student Association and a member of International Dance Festival and ‘Culture Fest’, events that invite students to educate and display their culture to the community at large. Iva worked as Resident Assistant, a Learning Assistant for General Chemistry and Pre-Calculus, and well as Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry.


Stefan Badža

MAST in Physics

Since his return, Stefan has been working as an analyst in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government on public sector reform. After that he moved to work in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia on projects that focus on improving the IT and Innovation ecosystem in Serbia, and that are helping transform Serbia into a knowledge-based economy. Some of the key projects that he works on are developing the network on Science and Technological Parks in Serbia, startup ecosystem and research and innovation in artificial intelligence field.

Stefan Anđelković

MAST in Physics

Since his return from Cambridge to Serbia, Stefan worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst at Seven Bridges Genomics, Belgrade and as a Bioinformatics Engineer at Persida, Belgrade. Currently, he is doing a PhD in Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. His research interests are systems biology, cancer-related signalling pathways, automation of scientific research, and biomedical applications of machine learning.

Miro Vukoje

MAST in Pure Mathematics

Miro graduated from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics (Applied Mathematics) with GPA 10. He received numerous awards from his University for outstanding results.


Ivona Čicković

MPhil in Economics

Ivona completed the Belgrade Mathematical Grammar School and graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics (International Finance) with GPA 9.3. Parallel with her undergraduate studies, she completed the one-year Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Program in Social Sciences and Humanities implemented by the Belgrade Open School (BOS).

Valentina Čolić

MPhil in Finance

After her return, Valentina worked as a junior advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia for two years and as a chief analyst in an economic think-tank for a year and a half. She recently joined the start-up scene in Serbia by establishing a brand of high-quality artisan nut spreads called Nut Enough.

“I want to inspire young people studying or living abroad to come back to Serbia and help them overcome their prejudices – yes, it is possible to get a job in the Serbian Government without being politically involved and it is possible to establish your own company without much stress regardless the bureaucratic burden."

Nevena Krstičić

Master of Law (LL.M.)

Nevena received her undergraduate degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law (Department of International Law). In the past, she was awarded two scholarships -- one from Belgrade City Council (the Most Talented Student of Belgrade) and one from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Fund for Young Talents). She passed the Bar exam in 2011 and specialized in data protection law. She has been advising and representing trade associations and businesses in their dealings with the European Commission and governments.

Una Savić

MPhil in Finance

Una holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Quantitative Finance and has been awarded as the best student in her generation by the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Prior to being accepted at Cambridge, Una has worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.


Milena Milićević

MPhil in Management

Milena graduated from Judge Business School, The University of Cambridge, with an MPhil in Management degree. She was at Murray Edwards College. Prior to Cambridge, Milena also obtained MA in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philology at The University of Belgrade.

Dušan Kanazir

Master of Law (LL.M.)

Prior to graduating law at the top of his class at Union University in Belgrade, Serbia, Dusan interned and worked in the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Hague. He successfully took part in multiple international moot court competitions and professional conferences, and attended several summer schools and trainings on law related topics. He also trained poll watchers and GOTV activists for electoral campaigns.


Tijana Gajić

MPhil in Inovation, Strategy and Organisation

Tijana graduated from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, with a Master's degree in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation. She holds a BSc degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade (major: Finance, Banking and Insurance).



Leana Ugrinovska

MPhil in Development Studies

Upon graduating from Cambridge, Leana returned to Macedonia and worked in the cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia in charge of economy.


Majda Josevska

MPhil in Education

Majda graduated from Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, with an MPhil in Education, specifically in Educational Research. She has a BA in Psychology from the State University "St. Kiril and Metodij", Skopje, graduating with a research paper on Gender Stereotypes in Macedonian Films. Her areas of interest include quality assurance in education, social justice and multiculturalism.

Borjan Lazarević

MPhil in Finance

Upon his return from Cambridge, Borjan started working at Deloitte - first as a Consultant for Strategy & Operations (2011-2015) and now as an Associate for the Financial Advisory Services.


Marko Jevremović

MAST in Pure Mathematics

Marko graduated from St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge, in July 2011, with a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics. He holds a Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Serbia.


Aleksandar Mitov

MPhil in Environmental Policy

Upon his return to North Macedonia, Aleksandar was employed as Healthcare Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia.


Ivana Mateska

MPhil in Technology Policy

Ivana graduated from Clare Hall, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, in July 2011, with a Master's degree in Technology Policy. She holds a Bachelor degree in International Logistics Management and International Logistics Engineering from Jacobs University, Bremen, Germany.


Damjan Denkovski

BA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology

Damjan completed a BA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology at Fitzwilliam College. Following this, he worked as a Human Rights Officer at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Macedonia to the United Nations Office in Geneva while pursuing his MA in International Development at the Graduate Institute there. He currently works at the Berghof Foundation on a high level political and civil society dialogue project focusing on consensus-building on key reforms in Macedonia.
