About the Program

The PEXIM Mentorship Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to inspire, empower, and support young people in Serbia to pursue their ambitions, grow professionally and personally, launch initiatives that benefit their communities, and promote the values of mutual support and paying it forward.

Through one-on-one mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants discover their strengths and opportunities around them, clarify their personal and professional goals, develop soft and hard skills necessary for their growth, and adopt a mindset of achieving success by contributing to the growth of their communities.

Featured Mentors

Our mentors come from diverse professional backgrounds, yet share something distinctive: a kind and generous spirit, a genuine commitment to supporting young people, excellence in their fields, wide-ranging interests, and strong professional networks.

Most of our mentors are PEXIM alumni and graduates of the University of Cambridge. We have also invited a select number of mentors from our partners’ networks—individuals we trust to bring exceptional value and inspiration. This year, we are especially proud to welcome several mentees from our very first PEXIM mentorship cohort as mentors themselves, reflecting the program’s cycle of growth and giving back.

What do our mentees say about the program?

“Mentorship is often underestimated, especially by mentors themselves. They might not even realize how much their presence and encouragement mean. But for mentees, even a few simple sentences or a quiet tap on the shoulder can mean the world. For me, it made all the difference.”
“I realized mentoring is much more general than just professional advice and refers to a much broader range of our lives. Therefore, working with a mentor broadens our horizons and gives us a different perspective“.
“It only takes one person to believe in me and tell me - you can do it! That person's voice instantly overcomes the doubts and fears of others. For me, that person was my mentor.“
“Mentoring is not about getting what we want, but about getting what we need.”
