MPhil in Environmental Policy

Masa is an economist by education with 8 years of professional experience in the ICT and renewable energy sectors. She completed her MPhil course in Environmental Policy at Queens’ College at the University of Cambridge. Masa also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Management and a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology from Bocconi University.

Masa has lived and worked in eight countries where she was engaged in numerous corporate and entrepreneurial projects. She made her first career steps as a consultant at Internet startups in Singapore, Bangkok and Berlin. After completing her studies at Bocconi University, she was selected by SONY as one of the 16 young leaders to join its Graduate Programme, working on launch of the first generation of Android TVs. Her “green” career journey started five years ago when she joined PROINSO, a global leader in the solar energy market, inspired to support the global energy transition to renewables. Business Development role took her throughout South East Asia and the Middle East where she generated new business opportunities and negotiated strategic partnerships with local companies. Following her promotion to the global Head of Marketing, Masa coordinated numerous strategic projects across five continents as a member of PROINSO’s executive team.

Upon her return to Belgrade, Masa co-founded a Belgrade-based Smart City accelerator driven by a desire to support startups working on solutions for urban problems such as pollution, traffic congestion and inefficient energy use.
