The PEXIM Foundation and the Faculty of Engineering Management in Belgrade are glad to invite you to participate in the first webinar on international education and entrepreneurship that we are jointly organizing in Belgrade. Our lecturer Greg Nance, the founder of several start-ups in education and acclaimed by Forbes, will share his personal experience and motivate people to follow their career passion.
The webinar will be held on 14 February at 14:00h in the Faculty building, at 43 Vojvode Misica Boulevard. The lecturer Greg Nance holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Chicago and Master’s degree in Management from the University of Cambridge.
The basic idea of the seminar is to focus on an information session with actionable steps for students in Serbia aiming to study abroad. These are the specific topics we will discuss with Serbian students:
- Learn about application requirements in the USA and UK and how to prepare (Testing, Transcripts, Essays, Recommendations)
- How to pick the right university and program
- Find out how to write an excellent Personal Statement
- Get tips on how to build a winning CV
- Learn how to ask professors for recommendations
- Q&A.
The PEXIM Foundation thus far supported 12 students from Serbia and Macedonia to complete their studies at Cambridge. Most of the PEXIM Alumni started their professional careers in the fields of consulting, renewable energy, education, public policy and FDI.
The Faculty of Engineering Management provides the leading expertise for the new generation of young business professionals in top scientific fields as it was founded in Belgrade by the professors who started their pedagogical careers at the University of Cambridge.
